It is also in the wake of the old turning mills, which once made the region famous, that the VILAC house stands: turned, smoothed, sanded, lacquered, decorated in our Jura workshop by our craftsmen, beech, hornbeam, alder and boxwood from the surrounding French forests guarantee the specialty and quality of the factory.
Since 2011, VILAC's know-how has been awarded the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant label: a unique government recognition of "French-style" excellence for its Made in France production.

It was quite natural that we called on or that artists came to meet us to share our artistic adventure and bring their “touch” to it, which was always obvious to us.
Each partnership is unique and the result of great encounters. It is a piece of history that we have shared together around common values for over 110 years. Quality, unique know-how, noble materials, durability, creativity, love of beauty are the few ingredients among many others that we cultivate with these prestigious names and these talented artists.

VILAC, this old lady from Jura celebrates her 113th birthday this year. Eternally youthful, it has survived more than a century by adapting to economic and ecological challenges and continues to seduce new generations.
So many stories with these artisans who are passionate about their profession and who knew how to pass it on. In fact, in 112 years, it hasn't changed much and that's rather reassuring. The gestures are almost the same, the sound of the machines, the wood being shaped and lacquered make the same melody. And above all, we always smell the beech shavings, our Proust madeleine.

Vilac was chosen by Paris 2024 to develop a range of official licensed products for the world's largest sporting event.
It is with honor and pride that we associate ourselves with this historic edition of the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
It is through a collection of unique games and toys, specifically developed for the event, that Vilac wishes to celebrate sport and all its practitioners and supporters.
