The Wind of Days Les Calades Malbec 2019

100% Malbec, Les Calades is a natural red wine that belongs to the A.O.C. Cahors appellation. Very enveloping in the mouth and raw at the same time, this cuvée is the perfect expression of the fruity, velvety and gourmet side of the Malbec grape variety. This red wine is adorned with an expressive nose with aromas of ripe black fruits and supple tannins. This cuvée is vinified in an original and unusual style: the mille-feuille! A 40 cm layer of whole bunches, topped with a 40 cm layer of destemmed grapes, followed by another layer of whole bunches and so on, fermented as is in a concrete tank. Powerful and endowed with a beautiful freshness, Calades goes very well with red meat, marinated chicken or even cheeses.
