Pierrick Harang Le Petit Balthazar Merlot 2021

Terribly gourmet, this red wine Le Petit Balthazar is a fruity and dense cuvée. Thanks to a specific management of the vines and no process of dealcoholization, this red wine is naturally at 11% in volume. 100% Merlot, this wine is made by Pierrick Harang, an oenologist who owns a High Environmental Value certified estate. It displays a deep garnet color with some purple reflections. Its intense nose reveals aromas of red fruits such as blackcurrant or fresh blackberry, liquorice and also some spicy nuances. Its mouth is carried by notes of fruit and raised in the finish by nuances of liquorice. This IGP Pays d'Oc red wine offers a full attack with well-present tannins coated by a nice roundness and sweetness. Its finish is quite long and accentuated on the fruit.
