The Lapacho tree (Tabebuia impetiginosa) is mainly native to Argentina and Brazil. There it is also referred to as the "tree of life" and enjoys a long tradition. It can reach an astonishing age of 700 years. Lapacho tea, also popularly called Iperoxo, Pau d’Arco or Taheebo, is made from its inner rind. For our lapacho tea, we only use residue-controlled products from Brazilian cultivation areas for pesticides and heavy metals.
