Through yield reduction, hand harvesting and whole grape pressing, the characteristics of the Heerkretz were already concentrated in the must and then spontaneously fermented in barrique (third occupancy). The gentle wood note underpins the powerful fruit as well as the finely integrated acidity, but without putting itself in the foreground. There stands with this Riesling clearly the high extract and the enormous juiciness as well as finely nuanced flavors from the spontaneous fermentation, which alternately pass the ball and thus carry the tension long until a melting finish.The dense nose reveals ripe yellow fruit, sultanas, apricot and some spicy notes like honeycomb and some petrol.
