Riesling 2021

The round Riesling nose with gooseberries, raspberries, bright yellow fruity aromas and slightly floral and flinty nuances in the background keeps its promise. Juicy and round, with some emphasis on the acidity, overall broad and long, the 21er Ortswein comes to the tongue with a sweep of green-yellow fruits, but also grapefruit and dried herbs.Before the well-balanced nose is also found in the finish, the young local wine runs riot in the mouth. A few salty tones, kiwi, gooseberry, herbs, lime, citrus fruit again, long arc of tension. Then, typically Riesling, yellow apple and gooseberry are in the mouth for a long time. This is accompanied, typically Siefersheim, by tart minerality and a hint of smoke.Only in the extremely long finish does this wine (as of the end of 2022) dissolve the tension field into pleasant pleasing and a mouthfeel for which the wild journey was more than worth it.
