2019 /LIMIT/ Riesling, Mussbacher Glocken tithe

"one in eight hundred" This powerful, large wine comes from the small but very fine site of Glockenzehnt. The vines get their strength from the heavy loess loam soil that characterizes this area. Peach, mango and banana peel meet earthy, nutty elements. The taste is carried by a slight residual sweetness. Notes of white pepper, ginger and nutmeg tickle the taste buds so that the whole thing doesn't come across as too opulent. The fine minerality and its earthy, nutty components ensure a splendid, long-lasting finish.
