XUXU, a children's story This year 2020 resonates like a test for the whole world. Loneliness, illness, anxiety have extinguished many of us. That’s why I wanted to create my brand, XUXU, full of color, full of hope.
Brand especially for children, because their carelessness is so precious that it guides us and lifts us up. During confinement once again the children, including my son, brought hope, drawing rainbows and putting them in windows. The latter was also my source of inspiration and motivation in the creation of the brand, so I decided to dedicate it to him and name it XUXU. XUXU, which is her nickname, means a very gentle and generous person in Catalan and Portuguese.
The creation of my brand has shown me once again that behind every difficulty lies a source of inspiration, which gives birth to a strength previously unknown to us. My experiences have always taught me that after the rain comes the sun, so the rainbow is the perfect symbol. Composed of seven colors, vibrant, luminous, different from each other, it reveals the beauty of diversity, and gives birth to harmony. So my collections are based on a play of warm colors, mix and match, and above all the desire to be sustainable and united.
