Our organic cumin has a strong smell and a pungent taste. It has been known as a spice since the Middle Ages and it is widely used in different regions, from Asia to Europe. The fruits of the cumin plant are an ingredient in curries and garam masala. Whole cumin can be an integral part of ground beef sausages, homemade hot dogs, hummus (used as a powder).
