Country: Brazil and India Species: Arabica (80%) - Robusta (20%) Variety: Blend Regions: Bahia (Brazil) and Chikkamagaluru (India) Farm: Fazienda Ambientale Fortaleza (Brazil) & Hoysala (India) Sensory profile: “A present body, no or little acidity, a slight bitterness brought by the robusta and beautiful natural notes of caramel, nuts and chocolate.» Process: Natural (Brazil) & Washed (India) Altitude: 1000 - 1200 m Harvests: May to September (Brazil) and December to April (India) SCA rating: 80.5 average It was important to us to offer you affordable coffee in our fixed range.   With the rise in prices, we no longer had coffee for less than €20/kg.   We therefore decided to introduce you to this blend of two coffees (80% Arabica from Brazil, 20% Robusta from India) made by us.    Why “Espresso”?   Quite simply because we have a slightly more thorough roasting compared to our other coffees and this blend adapts very well to Espresso methods (bean machine, manual espresso...).  The robusta chosen is very different from that which one might find in large retailers.   Recently, some producers have decided to produce quality robusta, with selective picking and careful sorting.   The result in the cup is then interesting and surprising.
