FAIRAFRIC Milk Chocolate 43% from Ghana, 80g

A German-Ghanaian social enterprise, Fairafric, is behind this revolutionary project. Its mission: to change the value chain in the chocolate industry.     Although 70% of the world's cocoa is grown in West Africa, this is the first time that chocolate from this region has been exported as a finished product.     Fairafric, founded in 2016, is a partner of the fabulous “Yayra Glover” initiative, of which more than 1,400 producers supply organic cocoa beans to the organization. The chocolates are produced and processed in Ghana, creating a strong social impact. Local processing and export of the packaged chocolate bar creates jobs and increases local income.     An independent film “Decolonizing Chocolate” tells the story of FairAfric and shows us all the energy put into this great project.
