Never the same, each jar is an extract of the territory and the season in which it was produced by bees. Mediterranean maquis honey is the wildflower honey typical of the mountainous areas of Sardinia. Here, the wild flowers of Erica Arborea, Lavandula, Asfodelo, Cistus, Rosemary and a large number of thistles create an ever-changing and intriguing mix. Its flavor changes from year to year, but it is always linked to a certain aroma, which allows it to be recognized among the numerous species of wildflower from other areas and countries. The resulting blend is unmatched for its rich and spicy aroma; if the honey is richer than Lavandula, it will have a softer flavor and a balsamic aroma. If heather or thistle predominates in wildflowers, the flavor will be richer and the aroma more spicy. It is raw (untreated) and produced from GMO-free and glyphosate-free soils. Furthermore, our honeys are produced without artificially feeding the bees but letting them feed on the nectar of the wild flowers of our territories.
