As part of the Red Associations, the producers of El Carmen are given better opportunity to enter the specialty coffee market, with better infrastructure and a stable income to reinvest in production of better-quality coffees. The association members are paid a minimum of two times the price they would receive usually, so we are very honored to be supporting their project.
