Strozzapreti ("priest-choker" in Italian) is an elongated variety of cavatelli, or hand-rolled pasta typical of the Emilia-Romagna, Tuscany, Marche and Umbria regions. A legend says that the name "strozzapreti" mischievously alludes to the proverbial gluttony of priests who were so enthralled by salty pasta that they ate too fast and choked. Strozzapreti are best enjoyed with zucchini and sausage or with sauces and pesto. Ingredients: durum wheat semolina, water. Contains gluten. Cooking time: 15/18 min
