Illustrator Christine Berrie creates colourful pencil drawings of everything from birds and bugs to radios and robots. From her original drawings she creates high-quality, archival prints that are vividly coloured and full of detail and character.

Christine enjoys creating images of collections of objects, which stems from her childhood interest in collecting stamps, stickers, pictures, postcards and all sorts of paper paraphernalia. Her artwork displays her aim to invest everyday objects with personality. She also has a particular interest in birds and nature and is the illustrator of the popular family games Bird Bingo and Bug Bingo.

Her work has been showcased in a number of publications including Creative Review, Design Week, Varoom and Communication Arts, and in the books Hand to Eye, The Picture Book and Visual Families. Her clients include Laurence King Publishing, Blue Q, The Guardian, Microsoft and New Scientist. She has recently collaborated with the Museum of the Home in London to create bespoke illustrations for a range of prints, ceramics and homewares for the museum shop.

Christine is a graduate of Glasgow School of Art and the Royal College or Art. She works from her home studio in the Scottish town of Castle Douglas, making regular trips to her home city of Glasgow.
