Founders Bea and Chris were inspired to start Chula due to their love of chocolate and a lack of healthier chocolate options in the market. Cacao is high in antioxidants and is an excellent source of several minerals, including selenium, magnesium, chromium and manganese. These health benefits are largely negated by companies adding sugars and other unhealthy additives to give a sweeter taste.
