Put simply, Clueden was created by parents for their children.
The idea arose when founders, Siqi and Jérôme, were away with their four children in France.
Whilst perusing a market jewellery stall, Siqi spotted 4 bracelets: perfect gifts for each of her children to mark the beautiful time they’d spent together on their holiday. Seeing how happy the bracelets made her kids, once back in the UK, Siqi searched for jewellery that encapsulated the lively and vibrant essence of youth.
A year later, after exiting their respective companies, Siqi and Jérôme set out on the exciting journey of re-creating their experience in France for other parents and children – Clueden was born.
Siqi is Chinese and Jérôme is French. The brand is a reflection of their family: cheerful, colourful, multi-cultural, and cosmopolitan – even the brand name ‘Clueden’ was created by combining the first 2 letters of their children’s names.
As well as being a precious token of their childhood, children’s jewellery needs to be able to sustain the exciting activities of their lives; each piece is designed with this notion at its core.
