These preserves are prepared from medium-sized peeled and chopped fresh onions. This puree is boxed after having been added with oil. This product is presented "in oil ready to fry" for a more precise use in the kitchen where it is ready to fry; it does not stick to the bottom of the utensil used, retains an attractive shine and is easy to use for the preparation of all sauce base "roux".
