This coffee bean from Brazil is a balanced coffee with notes of praline and hazelnut. The length in the mouth is sweet and chocolatey. It is a specialty coffee from the Cerrado region. The terroir This coffee bean comes from the Cerrado Mineiro region, in western Brazil, considered the highest quality area in the state of Minas Gerais for coffee production. On its vast plateaus, located between 800 and 1,300 meters above sea level, grows an Arabica renowned for its exceptional quality, recognized internationally. The harvest in this region lasts four months, from May to September. The producer The producers of this coffee are divided between 9 cooperatives, 7 associations and a foundation, bringing together around 4,500 farmers working on 17,000 hectares of land in this region of western Brazil. Responsibility Since 2013, Starter coffee has benefited from the Designation of Origin (DO) "Cerrado Mineiro", a certification that guarantees regulated production by small local cooperatives. The coffee comes exclusively from this demarcated region and is grown between 800 and 1,300 meters above sea level. This certification also requires a minimum score of 80 points according to the SCAA rating system during tasting, thus attesting to the superior quality of this coffee. Variety Starter coffee is a blend of the Mundo Novo and Catuaí varieties, renowned for their excellent aromatic profile.
