True to its heritage and truly different from the norm, the Black Bull 12 Year Old Blend is bottled to a higher degree and contains a greater amount of malt whiskey than most blended Scotch whiskeys available today. Using only the highest quality malt and grain whiskey sourced from selected distilleries in Scotland and matured in the finest sherry and bourbon casks, Black Bull 12 Year Old is blended using a 50% malt formula for 50% grain whiskey, and bottled at 50% alcohol (100 US proof), for a complete taste experience that will bewitch the senses. This robust yet versatile blend can be served neat, with water, or as part of cocktails. Color: Deep Amber Nose: Robust and voluminous aromas. Chocolate, caramel, sherry, vanilla and lemon sorbet. Mouth: Soft, mellow and rounded. Milk chocolate, molasses caramel, pears, green apples and lots of sweet vanilla. Finish: Some heavier fruity notes emerge, and lots of creamy notes.
