Aronia berries dried BIO-150

Originally from North America and grown in Eastern Europe, Aronia is a small black berry rich in powerful antioxidants belonging to polyphenols (anthocyanins, flavonoids and OPCs), growing on shrubs up to 3m high. Its antocyanin content far exceeds that of blueberries, blackberries, blackcurrants, cherries and other pigment-rich fruits... Aronia is a veritable treasure trove of antioxidants and substances favorable to the cardiovascular system. In addition, the Aronia is an extremely resistant shrub and does not require any chemical treatment. While goji from China, acai from Amazonia, maqui from Patagnia hold the upper hand in terms of nutritional values, an almost unknown berry is propelled into the leading pack of "superfruits": chokeberry (Aronia Melaocarpa) . It was the dark color of the Aronia that caught the attention of the scientific community. This is because highly pigmented fruits are rich in antioxidants known as anthocyanins. These pigments are among the most powerful antioxidants, and also have anti-inflammatory properties. This is only one aspect of the virtues of Aronia. Upon further investigation, scientists found multiple substances. Among others: Caffeic acid (protects cells by preventing cell membrane oxidation) Delphinidin and Malvidin, anthocyanins known to be powerful antioxidants Epicatechin, a flavonoid favorable to the cardiovascular system The presence of these molecules in aronia is decisive for scientists, therapists and nutritionists. In the coveted little world of "superfruits", the antioxidant action is decisive in considering the real interest of one berry over another. Aronia has a higher antioxidant action than cranberries, blueberries, raspberries, cherries, pomegranate, goji and mangosteen.
