Children's Book: Aquarius

A girl looks at the sea from the pier and dreams of swimming with the fish. Suddenly, a little fish jumps out of the water, she takes it home and builds a curious aquarium to float freely with her new friend. Until she realizes that the fish isn't as happy as she is. The little fish escapes from the small pool that the girl has arranged for the two of them and dives into a puddle of water that the hose has formed. The girl watches him puzzled, until she understands what is happening. He runs to the pier with the little fish, says goodbye to him and gives him back his freedom. Subtle and delicate illustrations tell this little anecdote that is, in reality, a great story. A story that makes you reflect on the freedom that is needed to grow, to bond, to love and to live.
