ORGANIC AGOURELAIO 500ML

DE-ÖKO-006 In Greece, Agourelaio is the name given to an extra virgin olive oil that is made from unripe green olives. 

The harvest time usually begins at the beginning of October. 

This reduces the yield, but the quality reaches new standards. 

Due to the early harvest, it has a higher polyphenol content (over 500g/kg), more oxidants, vitamin E and secondary plant substances. 

The first oil of the season is intense green in color with a grassy, ​​fresh taste, piquant with a clearly noticeable bitter note. 

We produce in a limited quantity of only 800 bottles of organic quality. 

Its fruity note refines salads, antipasti and pasta. 

Tip: Glaze dishes with it before serving. 

In Greece, Agourelaio (=unripe) is considered the best olive oil.
