POMANDER COLLECTION
Very fashionable accessories from the Middle Ages to the eighteenth century, pomanders were small perfumed spheres that contained aromatic substances such as ambergris, cinnamon, cloves and civet, mixed with waxy substances and enclosed in containers (with the same name ) which had small holes to release the perfume.
Pomanders came in many shapes, they hung from belts or chains around the waist, as pendants for necklaces or even as beads on a rosary.
Ephimera Jewels has redesigned and created them with innovative modern techniques and contemporary materials while maintaining the line of use of tradition.
