Herborea is a company with more than 𝟐𝟎 𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢 𝐝𝐢 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚 that was born from the numerous journeys undertaken by its two founders, thanks to which we came into contact with 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞, 𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢 𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐳𝐞 who have given rise to lifestyles marked by 𝐛𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐞.

Based on these experiences, in order to transfer this well-being to our customers, we have decided to import traditional recipes and raw materials to create a series of products 𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐢 𝐞𝐝 𝐞𝐜𝐨-𝐬𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢

The philosophy on which Herborea is based is the Andean cosmovision. In the cosmovision, the human being is part of everything. It is part of nature like any living being. It is part of an ecosystem that works in balance if we are all in balance, with ourselves and with what surrounds us. There must be support and mutual and continuous flow.

And the Palo Santo is the exemplification of the Andean cosmovision.

To obtain a good quality of Palo Santo we must not interfere with the natural life cycle of the plant. We must respect and wait for the time of nature.

Today we collaborate with the prefecture of Santa Elena, Ecuador, and with numerous local families who help us in the production of Palo Santo incense.

The manufacturing process, in fact, is carried out directly on site by the local communities. They have the task of selecting the most valuable parts of the wood, excluding roots, bark and other natural imperfections of the plant.

It is also thanks to their contribution that our Palo Santo is one of the most appreciated and used in Europe. All our products are handmade by local artisans and workshops according to techniques handed down from generation to generation and with decorations typical of different local cultures.
