Pepus sardines are caught during the fall months. It is steamed and packed in vegetable oil or tomato sauce. Sardines come from the northeast Atlantic and the Mediterranean (FAO27 and 37). They are steamed and carefully introduced into the tin by hand. Sunflower oil is then added, which gives them a mild flavor. Ideal for your Vermouth moment and to accompany your favorite recipes!
