Olivier Ravoire - AOP Gigondas red - 2022

Olivier Ravoire highlights the history of the Ravoire family by signing this range in honor of the epic tale of Captain Ravoire – valiant knight of the 16th century – in Comtat Venaissin in 1593. For this, a term from the lexicon of chivalry was assigned to each name. Thus, our Gigondas has the vintage name “Armatura”, a term borrowed from Latin designating the knight’s armour, the key to the latter’s protection during the duels and combats in which he takes part.
