Our honey is a handmade product according to an ancient recipe.   It comes from untreated fields and does not undergo any treatment.   Now a Calabrian excellence, it is exported throughout Italy, to Canada and is now ready for landing in Europe.   A unique product of nature's inspiration. Chestnut honey is obtained from the flowers of the plant of the same name during the summer season, whose peculiar characteristics are the dark amber color and the strong and slightly bitter taste reminiscent of chestnut.   Chestnut honey is a truly useful product for the well-being of the body: Contains potassium, sodium, magnesium and calcium. ANDa nutritious and energetic food and is therefore recommended in cases of physical fatigue and for the nutrition of the elderly, children, athletes and convalescents.   It is the one with the highest percentage of mineral salts and, in particular, iron.   Compared to acacia and wildflower honey, it has a less sweet and delicate flavor and has a more liquid density.
