Colostrum is traditionally collected in disposable syringes, which are often made of harmful plastic. Our collector is made from 100% medical-grade silicone, meaning it does not release harmful toxins and is safe to store in the refrigerator or freezer. It's easy to use and reuse, making it the ideal option for both pre and postpartum moms! Our silicone colostrum collectors (individually sterile packaged) come in two different sizes to suit different needs - our original 4 x 4ml collector and the larger 1 x 20ml. Each colostrum collector comes with its own sticker, which allows the individual collector to be conveniently identified. Characteristics Collect, store and feed colostrum from the same container.  Made from 100% medical grade silicone.  Soft, squeezable silicone has a vacuum effect to collect droplets.  The tip sucks the colostrum from the nipple, but can also be removed to squeeze it directly into the collector.  Portable, leak-proof and reusable.  Heat and freeze resistant Clear measurements.  Non-toxic and safe for newborns.  BPA, PVC and phthalate free. Application Collection: Make sure the collector is sterilized before use. Sterilize it using any steam sterilizer or boil it in water for 2-3 minutes. Gently squeeze the collector to suck the tip of colostrum drops directly from the nipple. Alternatively, you can remove the tip and let the colostrum drip directly into the collector Store: Stick a label on the collector with your name and the date and time of pumping. Store the colostrum in the refrigerator or freezer according to your country's breast milk storage guidelines. Feeding: You don't need to transfer colostrum between different containers. Feed your baby directly with the colostrum collector. Before feeding, warm the colostrum by running the colostrum collector under warm water until the colostrum reaches room temperature. Note: As soon as a baby drinks from the colostrum collector, it is no longer sterile. Sterilize before reuse. Danger Check regularly that the product is still completely intact and replace it if it shows any signs of damage. Do not store the item near sharp objects. Only use soft sponges or brushes with soft bristles for cleaning (hard bristles or sponges can damage the surface of the silicone). If the item comes into contact with dishwashing detergent, the silicone may turn white. This is not a toy. Use the item only for its intended purpose and under adult supervision. Store the item in a cool, dry place and avoid direct sunlight.
