The Matcha Journey
I first came across matcha in 2019 after I decided to drastically cut back on my coffee consumption. Since a detox phase, I was aware of how much energy coffee draws from me instead of providing me with it. A healthier replacement product was needed. I had already tried matcha a few times, but I had to admit that I didn't like the taste of matcha at all. Some time later I tried other types of Matcha and came to the conclusion that not all Matcha is the same!
Matcha, which comes from the first harvest of the year, has a particularly mild taste.
Organic quality, regular soil checks and a general examination of the existing nutrients and heavy metal contamination are important factors for me. So the two of us began our journey to find the best matcha in the world. We tried many different types of matcha, looking for a matcha powder that was naturally mild in taste and soft enough to drink without adding milk or syrup. We found what we were looking for in the Uji region of Japan, on a farm that has been family-run for generations.
Health Bar was born...
and we found the newfound lifestyle so convincing that we absolutely wanted to share it! Because a cup of matcha, rich in nutrients and antioxidants, could possibly be the simplest form of self-love! And it only takes a few minutes to add this tea ceremony to your routine!
