Long is the Vietnamese word for dragon. The dragon is certainly the most well-known mythical creature in Asian culture. It stands for strength and especially in Vietnam for the desire for freedom and independence. Many famous places in Vietnam, such as Ha Long Bay (Rising Dragon Bay) are related to dragons. Our chef's knife is the workhorse of the kitchen cutlery arsenal. It can easily handle 80% to 90% of all cutting tasks. The curved blade and wide heel make it the perfect tool for chopping, slicing, dicing even tougher meat or vegetables. A versatile chef's knife perfect for everyday dicing and chopping tasks. Each of our knives is handcrafted by a traditional blacksmith factory in Cao Bang in northern Vietnam. The color and shape of the knives may vary slightly from the illustration.
