IMARA TEA

By founding Imara, we wanted to be discoverers of exceptional and original teas in terms of their origin and their characteristics.Imara Tea aims to be the trendsetter of gourmet teas.

Our desire is to bring out the best of Africa by borrowing the concept of the collection from fashion.  Each will put a country in the spotlight and bring together the best teas and infusions produced locally.  With Kasimba, our very first collection, it is Kenya that we have chosen to celebrate.

Finally, our goal is not just to celebrate Africa through our tea collections.  We also want to support our partners to transform the African tea production sector.

From 2021 we joined the international 1% for Planet network.  We donate 1% of our annual turnover to associations fighting for environmental causes linked to the development of more sustainable food and the fight against pollution.
We also want to support cooperatives towards their organic transition.  Thanks to collective work since 2020 with the Kenyan plantation, the latter obtained Controlunion organic certification.
