Hello ! I'm Camille, 28 years old, mother of two little otters: Louise, 3 years old, and Agathe, 1 year old! Manual and artistic since always, I was first a dance teacher in an association that I managed for 6 years. I learned sewing by making costumes for my students. Then, when I became a mother, I started sewing for my daughter. Those around me then encouraged me to launch my micro-enterprise so that other parents could benefit from my creations.
I then began extensive training in European standards which are very strict regarding the world of childcare. I have equipped myself to offer professional quality articles. And once the Atelier des P’tites Loutres was launched, I began to believe very strongly in my project.
Already having a very creative mind, every day I draw on my experience as a mother to think and create new articles.
Since November 2020, I have continued to think bigger for my business. This is why I switched to Eurl in June 2022, in order to be able to further develop my activity. Every day brings new challenges, new ideas and new projects. This is how, in March 2023, the first physical store was opened in Lagnieu 01.
L’Atelier des P’tites Loutres is my third baby. And just like my children, I love watching him grow and develop.
At the Atelier des P’tites Loutres, we have a real desire to participate in ecology. We offer items which, due to their quality, have a very long lifespan unlike similar products that can be found among “industrial” competitors. We try to recover scraps as much as possible to avoid waste (creation of dedicated articles for this). All our fabrics and haberdashery have Oeko-tex certifications and our fabrics are printed without chemical substances.
We also have a range of reusable items.
Finally, because your baby is unique, he deserves a unique and personalized gift in his image! This is why, from a wide choice of products, each more original than the other, we allow you to personalize each of them.
I will end with a more personal touch… I am often asked “why P’tites Loutres”? Well, a little nod to my husband who I have known for a long time now, and who nicknamed me like that. Since he has always been unfailingly supportive, this is my way of showing my gratitude to him.
