Lassanaï is a doubly zero waste brand: we recycle waste and avoid creating new ones.
Ex: a cotton + recycled plastic food charlotte avoids disposable cling film.
We work with:
- Cotton woven by hand, on wooden looms, without consuming fossil fuel.
- Plastic recycled from marine litter.
- Recycled sari (traditional garment)
- Recycled newspaper. We work with a workshop that recycles and colors it to create sparkling and useful products.
These products are handcrafted in Sri Lanka in a fair trade certified workshop (WFTO). They are alike but each is unique, and participates in a conscious social and environmental approach.
