Domaine Riaux, Pouilly-Fume The Pouilly-Fumé Domaine de Riaux 2019 is a must of the Loire Valley appellation, produced 100% from Sauvignon blanc in sustainable agriculture. It is located right next to the famous Dagueneau estate and is rewarded every year! The terroir (65% Silex Clay, 30% Kimmeridgian Marl and 5% Villiers Limestone) is ideal for allowing the full complexity of Sauvignon to express itself. It is therefore one of the greatest wines of the Loire, beautifully vinified. Grapes: 100% Sauvignon Blanc In 2022, this Pouilly-Fumé has a typical gunflint nose marked by the flint terroir. On the palate, the minerality is expressed with elegance and finesse, accompanied by very expressive citrus and exotic fruit notes. A magnificent bottle full of balance and refinement that will seduce lovers of great Sauvignons. Will go wonderfully with fish. Can be presented as an aperitif on a crottin de Chavignol.
