Jeff Carrel "Morillon" - Languedoc wine - Languedoc VDF white wine - Vintage 2020 Appellation: Wine of France Type: Dry White colour Grapes: 100% Chardonnay Degrees: 14.5% vol. Capacity: 75 cL Tasting: Straw yellow colour, less golden than in most vintages. Ripe and expressive nose, with notes of pear, peach and pineapple, with buttery, toasted notes in the background. The palate is round, ample, with a ripe, dense, almost oily substance and an acidity that balances and refreshes the whole. Clean finish, finely astringent, still with this very ripe fruit, but also toast, a touch of butter and a hint of vanilla. Food & wine pairings: Raw ham, melon, foie gras, guinea fowl with mushrooms, aged cheeses, apple pie.
