Fruity and delicious coffee, with a generous body, with notes of chocolate, hazelnuts and yellow fruits.     Species: 100% Arabica Process: Washed Drying: African beds Altitude: 1150m Harvest period: October - January Harvest type: Manual About: Patrick and Jacques Desplaces are two lovers of Cameroon and coffee.                                        In 2004, they bought a 63-hectare coffee plantation founded in 1931 and abandoned for several years.                                        The two brothers wanted to call their farm Frères de Noun in reference to the geographical location of the estate.     Located in the department of Noun in the west of Cameroon, near the town of Kouoptamo and between lakes Bamendjing and Petpenoun, the plantations peak between 1100 m and 1200 m above sea level.  In addition, the plantations benefit from a tropical climate and a terroir rich in basalt, which gives a specific character to the coffees produced. For the sake of quality, the brothers chose manual and selective harvesting.                                        The coffee is only harvested by hand, cherry by cherry, from October to January, with particular attention to harvesting only ripe cherries.     Once pulped, fermented and washed, the coffee benefits from double drying.                                        It is first placed on racks to obtain uniform drying under the action of the wind.                                        It is then spread on cement areas to complete evaporation.     The same rigor is applied during the triage phase.                                        The screening of the coffee is carried out mechanically while the careful sorting is only carried out by hand by women.                                        This contributes to quality and job creation in the region.
