                            Sichuan pepper is a spice native to the Sichuan region of China. It is known for its unique taste and complex aroma. Unlike other types of pepper, it does not present a burning heat sensation, but rather a tingling, slightly numbing sensation on the tongue. Sichuan pepper is often used in Chinese cuisine to season meat, fish and vegetable dishes as well as soups and sauces.
