Porte Romane, flagship beer of the Maddam collection is a tasting beer of character with golden highlights, malt and floral aromas. Porte Romane is only composed of barley malts and finely hopped. Porte Romane is the name of the door of the Collegiate Church of Chablis which dates from the 12th century. During the Middle Ages, knights and riders passing through Chablis came to nail a horseshoe to their mount to benefit from the protection of Saint-Martin.
