Our story began on a cold winter day in 2021 when enjoying a cup of tea while pondering over our ancestor's customs and ways of life. The surrounding hectic and busy world offered us an inspiring idea to revive our ancestor's wisdom and share it with good people around us.
Ancestors had a strong bond with nature, and they drew strength and peace of mind from simple things. Surrounding nature grows a lot of plants which ancestors used for various purposes - waybread on wounds, camomile as antiseptic, valerian for calming etc. There are different ways to use plants and they inspired us to share ancient knowledge. Most of the properties of plants were applied while drinking different teas, and this is where Melie's ultimate desire comes from, to offer tea blends made from plants grown in pure nature.
Melie is a family company with a passion to offer tea blends from beautiful and invigorating herbs. The fundamental idea to form a company was inspirited by a wish to offer valuable additive-free products which invigorate the body, soul, and mind. Our assortment consists of high-quality and tasty tea blends which are hand mixed and packed into biodegradable tea bags. The herbs used in Melie's tea blends are picked from pure nature and dried in the fresh air. Each tea blend is assembled from carefully selected plants and berries, considering their functions and flavour combinations.
