Groenlandberg Chardonnay 2022, OAK VALLEY, fresh and complex white wine

This fresh and complex white wine, produced by Oak Valley in the cool Elgin region of South Africa, comes from a selection of south-south-east facing plots located at an altitude of 430m.
 Winemaking and aging: The Oak Valley terroir with its Bokkeveld shales rich in clay soils, the cool climate of the Elgin Valley in South Africa, the high altitude, combined with the gentleness of winemaking and aging practices in oak barrels, give this wine freshness and aromatic complexity with a beautiful salinity on the finish.
 Tasting notes: – Appearance: Golden yellow color. –Nose: Intense aromas of mandarin, apricot and green apple. –Palate: Freshness and complexity characterize this wine. 
Intense, rich, sumptuous and concentrated, on the palate it releases flavors of blood orange and yellow peach, with a salinity on the finish.
 Aging potential: 7 to 10 years Recommended serving temperature: 10-12°C Food/wine pairings: Salmon, seafood, soft cheese, chicken curry.
