THE BEGINNING OF MOTCHUT STUDIO
I have always liked to search, rummage, go to flea markets, guided by my design culture and my taste for beautiful shapes. I discovered that in Barcelona there are many second-hand shops and I go there regularly. I question myself as a designer, the profession leads us to create new objects, but why not, starting from the existing one to revalorize a forgotten object? I am therefore embarking on the adventure at 100% in January 2022!
MY PHILOSOPHY
“Môt chút” means “a little bit” in Vietnamese and with little, you can do a lot. This is for me the basis of upcycling, transforming an object with creativity to obtain a unique product. Each mottled object changes universe and it then becomes singular and colorful!
