The Wingrut (Batch 1) was named Best German Matured Gin 2021 at the World Gin Awards. The jury's tasting note: Mint and eucalyptus top notes on the nose, with citrus, juniper, hints of herbs and spices, and a whiff of wood. The peppery, earthy spice notes dominate on the palate with intense eucalyptus and/or mint, leading to a peppery finish. Well balanced with good character. David T.
