Galatea of the Spheres is a 1952 painting by Salvador Dalí depicting Gala Dalí, the wife and muse of Salvador Dalí, in a series of spheres arranged in a continuous pattern. The name Galatea refers to a sea nymph of classical mythology who was known for her virtue, and may also refer to the statue loved by her creator, Pygmalion. © Salvador Dalí, Fundació Gala-Salvador Dalí, VEGAP, Barcelona 2020
