Tequila Nueve B is a premium tequila made from 100% agave. Our tequilas are made with great passion, craftsmanship and the traditional way. Our tequila is produced in small batches in a small distillery in the tranquil town of Tequila near Guadalajara Mexico.
ALL HANDMADE: The agave plants take 8 to 12 years to mature. They are then harvested by hand by our Jimadores. The Jimadores cut the leaves in the traditional way with a machete (coa) as close as possible to the heart of the agave (piña).
IT TAKES TIME: It takes a long time before the sweet nectar can be extracted from the soft fruit. The agave hearts are cooked in brick ovens for 54 hours. This traditional production method prevents caramelization and allows the fruit to become very soft and thus develop its full aroma.
ALL NATURAL: Fermentation in stainless steel tanks lasts over 60 hours with only natural yeast being added.
