Cumin brandy - 43° - 70 cl

Cumin is a spirit; and not a brandy; made from caraway seeds (meadow cumin), very popular with gourmets for its use in cooking, as an accompaniment to a plate of smoked fish or in flambéing of munster.   It also has recognized digestive properties, in response to stomach aches or difficult digestion.    This spirit is made by macerating black caraway seeds (cumin) in neutral alcohol for 3 weeks.   After distillation, we reduce the alcohol content using Steige spring water; of great purity because it is naturally filtered by the Vosges schist; with cold filtration to perfect the manufacturing.    Tasting notes: • Nose: caraway is expressed very intensely • Mouth: fresh aromas of cumin and anise • Finish: long and fragrant Sustainability: Ten years.   After opening, 5 years maximum.
