Zahara extra virgin olive oil is the most representative label of the Guccione Oil Mill and is obtained from the pressing of the monocultivar Tonda Iblea, a Sicilian native variety coming from centuries-old olive trees that live in Chiaromonte Gulfi, in the Iblei Mountains. The name "Zahara" derives from the Arabic and identifies the orange blossom, a term also used in Sicily to indicate the veil of white flowers that covers the olive trees. It reveals an intense profile with a strong personality, with hints of green notes of tomato, thistle, Mediterranean herbs and hints of pepper.
