COMPLETE CANE SUGAR PANELA (750 gr)

“Panela” whole cane sugar is a raw, unrefined sugar. 

It is obtained by concentrating sugar cane juice. 

This traditional process preserves the original natural nutrients (vitamins, minerals and plant fibers) as well as the characteristic taste of sugar cane.    Panela SolAlter is produced by the farmers of the COPROPAP association on the side of the Andes mountain range (at 1400 m altitude).    SolAlter is a member of MINGA, an association for the development of a fair economy.    Cake RECIPE: Preheat the oven to 200°C. 

Beat the 3 whole eggs with 50g of panela. 

Add 90ml of honey, 100g of melted butter and 100ml of milk, mix again. 

Add 160g of wholemeal flour, 1 sachet of yeast and 1 teaspoon of gingerbread spices, mix well. 

Pour into a buttered cake mold and bake for 30 minutes.
