The Koala, also called the Australian Sloth, belongs to the Phascolarctidae family, of which it is today the last living representative. This nocturnal animal, measuring between 61 and 85 cm, has large round ears, a stocky body and short limbs. It is easily recognizable thanks to its silvery brown-grey woolly fur, which, with regular care, allows the rain to roll off. The koala can sleep up to 20 hours a day and feeds mainly on eucalyptus, from which it gets all its water. Did you know that a koala doesn't drink a single drop of water during its lifetime?
