Once back from the Americas, the legend says that Pampi, a great gourmand, tried to rediscover the taste of the barbecues watered down from his Rodeo years. It was by using his memories, his taste buds and the neighbour's vegetables that he imagined the first sauce based on tomatoes, Espelette pepper and other herbs. This is when the Barbakoa sauce was born.
